To create this brass heart brooch series I use my jewelers saw to pierce out the shape of the hands from the brass sheet. The piece is then hammered to curve and a tie tac post is soldered to back.  I sand the heart to bring out a slightly matt sheen.  The brass is coated so the brooch will not turn colors from the natural oxidation process.  I will donate 100% of proceeds of each heart sold to the City of Sulphur, Louisiana to help in the recovery of thier community due to the destruction of Hurricane Laura.
