There is a story behind the real name of this piece. First of all I am not, nor will I ever be a pink person. But when I saw this pink drusy at a gem show I had to have it. I had absolutely no clue what I would ever make with such a large stone. It sat in my stash of stones for years before I pulled it back out and started playing with it. The final design reminded me of any eye (turn it sideways and it looked like lashes to me). So I titled it Pink Eye. It never occurred to me that it might resemble another body part. The necklace was in a local Houston gallery and the ladies who ran the shop told me almost every male that entered the shop felt the need to comment that it resembled a female body part.  ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS NECKLACE WILL GO TOWARDS A UTERINE CANCER CHARITY ORGANIZATION.
